Alee is originally from the Greater Boston area. She completed her undergraduate degree at Stonehill College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences with a minor in Healthcare Administration and played Division II Women’s collegiate basketball. She earned her Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy at Midwestern University in Downers Grove, Illinois where she served as Vice President of the Student Occupational Therapy Association.

Alee completed her Doctoral Fieldwork experiences at Mayo Clinic Phoenix in the Pain Rehabilitation Program (PRC) as well as in the acute care setting, and at Mass General Brigham, Newton Wellesley Hospital, in an acute care setting.

Alee completed her Doctoral Capstone experience with Rebuilding Together, a national non-profit organization focused on providing healthy and safe housing renovations for low-income home-owners. Alee partnered with Rebuilding Togethers’s Safe at Home program to bring an occupational therapy lens to their services. She developed evidence-based OT resources for the organization to utilize with homeowners in order to provide a more holistic, person-centered and individualized home renovation experience for the home-owner.

Alee served as the designated lead of her group research experience in graduate school. The research team explored multidisciplinary perspectives on pain at Midwestern University. She also co-authored an article: “Are OT practitioners addressing the needs of individuals, groups, and populations during the COVID pandemic?” which is published in the Illinois Occupational Therapy Association Communique.

Alee is an AMPS Calibrated Rater for the assessment of motor and process skills. She will be completing an Executive Certification in Home Modifications through University of Southern California in 2024 and plans to use this knowledge to better serve her patients.

Alee has a passion for working alongside her colleagues to serve her patients by delivering thoughtful, kind, individualized, research-validated care to maximize quality of life. In her free time, Alee enjoys hiking, playing sand volleyball, spending time with family and friends, and enjoying the outdoor life Arizona has to offer!
